Description
Job Title: Associate Director Business DevelopmentCompany Summary: A leading lower-middle market private equity firm specializing in technology is actively looking to add an Associate Director Business Development to their team in Austin, TX or San Francisco, CA. This opportunity will allow you to focus on investment themes, generating new market relationships and identify brand new growth opportunities.
The Business Development Associate Director will be responsible for:
- Researching investment themes of interest to the firm, while developing market maps and compiling lists of target companies.
- Lead the outreach and build long-term relationships with founders and CEOs of said target companies to generate investment companies on the behalf of the firm.
- Work with the investment team to scale business development functions.
- Help manage CRM data, conference follow-ups, and contact lists to optimize outreach efforts.
- Represent the firm at industry events and conferences to expand network and brand visibility.
The Business Development Associate Director should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
- 2+ years of substantial business development-focused roles within financial services and/or technology companies.
- Proactive mindset with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools is a plus.
