Our client, a Hong Kong-based asset management firm with an AUM of approximately USD 2 billion, is seeking an experienced and motivated Associate, Fund Operations to join their dynamic team. The firm specializes in alternative investments, spanning public markets, private equity, real estate, and structured products, and has a strong track record of generating long-term value for investors.

Key Responsibilities -

• Provide end-to-end operational support, including trade booking, settlements, security and cash transfers, and daily portfolio reporting.
• Perform portfolio bookkeeping, cash and position reconciliations across multiple asset classes such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, structured products, and hedge funds.
• Liaise with prime brokers, custodians, and fund administrators to ensure smooth operational workflows and timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of trade confirmations, broker/fund statements, and internal documentation.
• Assist in preparing investment and performance reports for portfolio managers and senior management.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and process enhancement initiatives as assigned.

Requirements -

• Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of relevant operations experience in banking, asset management, or hedge fund operations.
• Solid understanding of various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and structured investments.
• Experience working with prime broker reports and knowledge of portfolio management systems (e.g., Enfusion ) is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Bloomberg is a plus.
• CFA or CAIA candidates preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive team player with strong ownership, responsibility, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
