Description

The Global Equity Assistant Portfolio Manager will support the portfolio management team in constructing and managing global equity portfolios. The role requires strong expertise in fundamental bottom-up research, security selection, and active monitoring of investments across multiple regions and sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive bottom-up research on global equities, including financial statement analysis, valuation, and competitive positioning.
• Develop well-supported investment theses and actionable recommendations.
• Assist in portfolio construction in line with investment objectives and risk parameters.
• Monitor portfolio performance and support rebalancing decisions.
• Stay current on global market trends, macroeconomic developments, and sector dynamics.
• Identify emerging opportunities and risks across regions and industries.
• Prepare investment reports, presentations, and performance attribution analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate research insights and portfolio updates to senior management and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fundamental, bottom-up equity research, ideally within technology or healthcare sectors.
• Proven background in asset management, equity research, or portfolio management.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis and valuation techniques (DCF, multiples, scenario analysis).
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills in Mandarin and English.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
