This premier insurer is committed to strengthening its business finance function as it continues to grow. It is now seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Business Finance to be based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

As a Head of Business Finance, you will lead the business finance function, overseeing corporate finance activities including budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and rigorous expense management across business units to ensure cost optimisation and alignment with business priorities. The role involves providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions, operational initiatives and performance improvement, as well as partnering with business leaders to develop financial plans, identify risks and implement controls. You will ensure compliance with insurance accounting standards and internal financial policies, support ad hoc projects such as business case development, financial modelling and process improvements and mentor a high-performing team to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

You have at least 15 years of experience in business or corporate finance, preferably within the insurance industry. You should possess strong expertise in expense management, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, along with a solid understanding of insurance finance principles. The candidate must demonstrate excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical skills and be results-oriented, proactive and capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
