Description

Our client is a billion-dollar single family office based in Hong Kong. They focus on proprietary trading through direct investment and Separate Managed Accounts. They are now seeking a dynamic Head of Finance to join their high-caliber team and cover the finance and operation functions.

Reporting to the COO, you will be managing and optimizing financing strategies, margin usage, and collateral across prime brokers, ISDAs, and clearing brokers; you will beoverseeing firm-wide liquidity planning, cash forecasting, and inter-account cash movements to support trading and operational needs; you will be serving as the primary liaison with prime brokers, custodians, and financing desks, negotiating terms for margin, rehypothecation, and collateral schedules; you will also be monitoring and assessing financing costs and funding efficiency across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and FX, etc.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business or related disciplines. Experienced CPA or CFA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in treasury, finance or capital market function, preferably in a multi-manager hedge fund, asset management firm, or investment bank.
• Proven track record in managing financing costs, cash efficiency, and liquidity planning in a fast-paced environment.
• Prime Brokerage experience is HIGHLY REGARDED.
• Strong sense of job ownership, flexibility to adapt to changes.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Mandarin is a PLUS.
