This position is responsible for driving strategic partnerships and cross-border expansion within the institutional business domain.

The role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and onboarding external partners or teams with strong business synergies, strengthening the company's capabilities in liquidity, product offerings, technology, regulatory alignment, and regional footprint.

The ideal candidate should have relevant VC or investment analysis experience, with the ability to assess commercial and investment opportunities and execute partnerships or integrations across markets.

Key counterparties include licensed overseas exchanges, virtual banks, OTC trading businesses, quantitative trading teams, market makers, and fintech or infrastructure service providers.

This position focuses on partnership development and integration, distinct from corporate finance or strategic planning functions.
Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential institutional partners or teams with synergies to the company's business (including licensed overseas exchanges, virtual banks, OTC desks, quant teams, market makers, and infrastructure providers)
• Lead cross-border partnership and expansion initiatives, supporting the company's business establishment and collaboration in key international markets
• Conduct commercial assessments, partnership structuring, and initial due diligence (Initial Screening & Due Diligence), including equity-based collaboration or investment evaluation when appropriate
• Coordinate internal stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Risk, Product, Operations) and external advisors to facilitate evaluation and execution
• Prepare management reports, proposals, and decision papers to support executive review and approval
• Monitor global developments in the virtual asset and fintech industries and deliver actionable insights and partnership recommendations
• Support post-engagement integration to ensure operational alignment, compliance, and synergy realization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in strategic partnership, corporate development, VC / investment analysis, or cross-border business expansion
• Solid understanding of virtual asset exchanges, institutional trading services, or fintech ecosystems
• Strong commercial and investment analytical capabilities with the ability to evaluate partnership models and business potential
• Excellent project management and execution skills, capable of coordinating cross-border initiatives
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
