Overview
We are seeking an experienced audit professional to join a leading global banking institution. This role sits within the Internal Audit function supporting global functions, providing independent assurance on the effectiveness of risk management, controls, and governance frameworks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit Leadership: Lead sections of large-scale audits across Corporate & Investment Banking businesses, managing all stages of the audit lifecycle-from planning and fieldwork to reporting and issue validation.
• Continuous Monitoring: Execute ongoing risk monitoring for a defined portfolio through stakeholder engagement, governance forum participation, and risk profile analysis.
• People Development: Mentor and coach team members, support training initiatives, and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing culture.
• Innovation & Collaboration: Drive enhancements in audit methodology, leveraging data analytics, agile techniques, and innovative tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business leaders, providing constructive challenge and insight on risk and control matters.
• Team Leadership: Act as a role model, fostering an open and inclusive environment that supports professional growth.

Key requirements

• At least 8 years internal audit experience with strong working understanding of banking processes and key risks, particularly in wholesale credit
• Technical expertise in credit and lending processes.
• Solid hands-on experience in a sizeable corporate or institutional banking industry in Hong Kong
• Analytical mindset with the ability to quickly grasp complex issues and provide solutions.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Professional qualifications in accountancy, finance, or risk management are highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
