During the Russo-Ukrainian war, Diligent Capital Partners and 2ndAries (Netherlands) have launched Food4Impact: a EUR 150 million fund to restore financing for Ukraine’s agribusinesses and food value chain, backed by a EUR 75 million guarantee from the European Commission’s Ukraine Investment Framework (UIF), F4i is designed to support Ukrainian food & agri companies with private debt and quasi-equity (mezzanine) instruments, giving them capital to sustain and scale operations.
Position Summary
We are seeking an Investment Analyst to join our investment team in Kyiv. This role offers a hybrid work setup (combining in-office and remote work) and focuses exclusively on investment analysis and deal execution. You will support the team through the entire investment cycle – from research and financial modelling to due diligence and preparing investment materials. Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Support: Assist in all aspects of deal execution, including financial due diligence, transaction structuring, and coordination with advisors and stakeholders during the investment process.
- Financial Modeling & Valuation: Build and maintain detailed financial models and perform company valuation analyses (DCF, comparables, etc.) for prospective investments.
- Investment Materials: Prepare clear and concise investment materials – including investment memoranda, presentations, and analysis reports – to support decision-making and investment committee reviews.

Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in Big-4 (corporate finance, valuation, financial DD departments), investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate development, or management consulting.
- Education: Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to analyse financial statements and complex business data critically.
- Financial Acumen: Proficiency in financial modelling and company valuation techniques, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with standard valuation methods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Ukrainian (required) and English(working fluency). Ability to clearly articulate findings and present investment cases.
- Other: Strong work ethic, self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A team player with good business judgment and problem-solving skills.
