Vice President - Investment Banking (Financial Sponsors)About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading global investment bank with a proven track record in sponsor coverage and complex deal execution, is seeking an accomplished Vice President to join their growing Financial Sponsors team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a strategic role advising private equity firms and institutional investors on high-profile transactions, including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and portfolio company financings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the execution of M&A, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and other strategic transactions for financial sponsor clients.
- Oversee deal teams, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with private equity firms and institutional investors.
- Drive financial modeling, valuation analysis, and client presentations.
- Partner with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of investment banking experience, with a focus on financial sponsors or leveraged finance.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex transactions and managing client relationships.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
