We are seeking an Investments Director (title commensurate with experience) in our Madison, WI or Elk Grove Village, IL location. This role will report to the Senior Vice President of Investments and be primarily responsible for buying and selling fixed income, bank eligible securities for community banks, assisting customer banks with portfolio management, security analysis and recommendations, bond swaps and funding. This role has an equal mix of trading securities and marketing the department and Bank products and services to current and prospective customers.

Selling and Trading

• Buy and sell bank eligible fixed income securities for banks and their customers (Treasuries, Agencies, Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS), certificate of deposit (CD)s, Munis).
• Assist community banks with portfolio analysis and investment.
• Assist in underwriting process for new municipal.
• Monitor economic trends and effects on interest.

Marketing

• Market all department products and services.
• Market the Bank's products and services.
• Participate in Bank functions and conferences.

Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in banking, investments, finance, or accounting complemented by three or more years of experience in trading bank eligible fixed income securities, asset/liability, economics and bank portfolio analysis and management. Familiarity with Bloomberg required. Series 52 or equivalent licensure, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) required. Series 52, 63 and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or ability to licensed in these areas preferred. Experience with FIS InTrader securities solution and BondEdge preferred.
