Venice Retina is a well-established, privately owned retina practice dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in Southwest Florida.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Retina Specialist (Ophthalmologist) to join our Venice, FL location. This is an exciting opportunity for an ophthalmologist with interest or training in medical retina to practice in a busy, high-demand market with established referral networks and strong patient demand.
This role is ideal for:
- A fellowship graduate interested in putting their expertise to use in a private practice setting
- A residency graduate seeking fellowship-level experience in medical retina
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of retinal and vitreoretinal diseases
- Provide intravitreal injections, perform laser procedures, interpret retinal imaging, and collaborate with the clinical team on patient care
- Work collaboratively with support staff, referring providers, and practice leadership
- Uphold excellent clinical and professional standards in all patient interactions

Candidate Qualifications
- MD or DO with completed ophthalmology residency
- Board eligibility/certification in Ophthalmology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care
