Portfolio Analyst Job Description:
The firm is seeking a Portfolio Analyst to join the Investment Team. The candidate will be responsible for all trading, reconciliation, reporting and operations tasks within the Portfolio Management process. The candidate will also gain exposure to the firm’s research process and management of the firm’s internal investment strategies, in addition to various asset classes including equities and fixed income.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Investment Team’s trading inbox and contribute to trade execution.
- Assist with our research process including investment research, quarterly earnings, investment committee materials, report generation, and data mining.
- Manage the administration of portfolio reviews with financial advisors.
- Ongoing contribution to system implementation and ad hoc analysis.
Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science.
- 1-3 years’ experience in wealth and investment management, or completion of a graduate training program within financial services.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Advanced in Excel.
- Experience with account reporting systems and financial databases.
- Strong ability to manage large data sets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CFA Level II Candidate or Completed Level I of the CFA Exam.
- Series 65 or willing to complete within 12 months.
