Description
Your new companyOne of the most prominent Single Family Office in Singapore, with AUM over USD 3B.
Your new role
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive short-term tactical asset allocation framework, integrating both quantitative models and qualitative insights to inform macro-level investment decisions across equities, fixed income, and alternative assets.
- Propose tactical trades and strategies aimed at generating absolute return alpha, ensuring alignment with strategic asset allocation boundaries and portfolio-specific return and risk objectives.
- Employ a blend of asset class rotation, style tilts, and derivative overlays, guided by economic regime analysis to enhance portfolio positioning.
- Contribute to the annual strategic asset allocation review, supporting long-term portfolio objectives through scenario planning and risk-return assessments.
- Generate investment ideas spanning public and private markets, leveraging cross-asset perspectives to identify opportunities.
- Implement derivative-based solutions to optimize portfolio efficiency and manage foreign exchange exposures.
- Monitor global capital market developments and deliver timely updates to the investment team and committee, highlighting macroeconomic trends and market-moving events.
- Uphold investment policy standards with diligence, ensuring all recommendations and actions remain within governance and compliance frameworks.
What you'll need to succeed
- Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline; CFA qualification is advantageous.
- Brings approximately seven years of experience in asset allocation or a closely related investment function.
- Demonstrates a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and financial modeling, with practical experience in developing tactical asset allocation frameworks.
- Possesses broad-based expertise across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.
- Adopts a data-centric approach to investment decision-making, ensuring recommendations are substantiated by empirical evidence rather than narrative alone.
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintains a meticulous and detail-oriented work ethic.
- Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, and exhibits strong analytical capabilities.
- Well-suited for individuals seeking a stable, collaborative work environment that values initiative and teamwork.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python and R.
- Open only to Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
