Description

As a Reference Data Specialist within the Static Data Manila team, you will be primarily responsible for on-boarding and maintenance of Client records on various systems. This role involves static data maintenance for our Global Clients for APAC, Trade Finance, EMEA, and WHEM. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to our team's goals and SLAs.Job responsibilities
• Execute tasks assigned within the group, including but not limited to setting up client records in the system, maintaining work logs, and investigating exceptions.
• Add and update client information promptly and accurately in relevant functional applications, global systems, and mainframes.
• Manage the workflow of business-as-usual (BAU) activities, handling requests directed to the Static Team from CSOs, the Implementation Team, and internal departments.
• Ensure all work is processed within established timeframes, adheres to required controls, and meets defined targets.
• Interact with lines of business and internal clients via telephone or email, including those in senior roles.
• Respond to queries received via mailbox and resolve client issues as a priority.
• Work on various BAU projects as assigned, ensuring timely completion, and process any required backup tasks related to production, while identifying opportunities to improve current work practices.
• Conduct extensive investigations at both transaction and aging levels. While the role includes individual responsibilities, active contribution to team goals and SLAs is expected.
• Escalate and refer all concerns or non-routine situations to supervisors and managers.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in bank operations
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and highly organized
• Client-focused, solution-oriented, and effective communicator
• Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel
• Assertive in resolving issues professionally and positively
• Adaptable to fast-paced environments, global teams, and flexible shifts including PH holidays and weekends
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
• Knowledge of Trade, Payments and Cash products would be an added advantage.
• University degree in a relevant field
