Description

A top-tier western bank is looking for a Trade Reporting expert to support their investment banking business. The candidate will need to have experience in trade repository reporting for APAC market and strong compliance control.

Responsibilities:

• Regulatory reporting of transactions and positions across APAC jurisdictions for both Equities and Fixed Income products
• Acts as the sole contact for regional Operations regarding new regulatory initiatives.
• OTC Trade Repository (TR) reporting and investigation with counter parties for Hong Kong, Singapore and other APAC markets
• Performing daily control measures and aiding in the implementation of a new control framework
• Participate in a global task force with IT and Operations to enhance the control framework and infrastructure
• Develop procedures and controls to reduce operational risks linked to regulatory reporting.
• Compile data for specific surveys requested by central banks and regulatory bodies.
• Support the preparation of regular updates for ITO management, Compliance, and Front Office on the progress of various initiatives

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in regulatory reporting for APAC jurisdictions
• Strong grasp of regulations from various authorities and their effects on daily banking operations.
• Excellent communication skills for managing stakeholder relations in regulatory reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of Fixed Income products and OTC trade reporting.
• Familiarity with front-to-back workflows and product event management is a plus.
