SummaryThe Opportunity
The Sr. Analyst Training & Development plays a key role in advancing financial literacy and operational excellence within hotel finance teams. This position supports the Senior Manager, Training & Development in executing Hyatt's finance training strategy, delivering talent development programs such as the company's Finance Academy, and coordinating strategic communications and events for hotel Directors of Finance (DOFs). The role requires strong project management abilities, a solid understanding of hotel finance, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The Role
The Sr. Analyst Training & Development supports the Senior Manager Training and Development and plays a key role in strengthening hotel finance processes through targeted training initiatives. The role includes developing content aligned with Hyatt's global accounting policies, assessing training needs, and ensuring operational requirements are met. This role will help maintain a comprehensive library of training resources, manage strategic communications and events for DOFs, and support talent development initiatives such as Hyatt's Finance Academy. Additional responsibilities include supporting special projects and collaborating across cross-functional teams, including Operations, Internal Audit, Commercial Services, and IT. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable with periodic travel, and excels at training teams on financial processes and systems.
Training Strategy & Communications
• Assist with the development and maintenance of a comprehensive training plan to address training needs, best practices, and process improvements.
• Organize and maintain training library resources on the Hyatt intranet for use by finance and operations hotel colleagues
• Coordinate weekly and monthly training communications, including webinars, newsletters, and quick reference materials.
• Serve as a trusted resource for hotel and regional finance, providing support and responding to hotel inquiries.
Talent Development
• Collaborate with hotel and regional colleagues to design, implement, and integrate regional strategy work.
• Assist with the coordination of talent development initiatives, including leadership workshops, task forces, and other corporate initiatives
Skills & Competencies
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of hotel accounting and Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry
• Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and process improvement)
• Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse functions and regions
Qualifications
Experience Required:
• 2+ years of finance career progression; preferred experience in hospitality, retail, or related industry, with experience in hotel accounting or corporate finance training
Experience Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Familiarity with Hyatt systems (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle, Opera) is desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Ability to travel to hotel properties and attend corporate events as needed

The salary range for this position is $78,500.00 to $100,000. This position is also eligible to earn an annual bonus.
The final salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
