Description

Join a leading international financial services organisation as a Senior Finance Manager, overseeing financial reporting, regulatory filings, and controls across both local and global frameworks. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial management, supporting audits, and strengthening governance processes. This position offers the opportunity to work with global finance teams, contribute to strategic decision-making, and develop deep expertise across Japanese and international accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee statutory financial reporting and ensure full compliance with Japanese accounting regulations.
• Prepare and review balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports for management and regulators.
• Execute financial controls, reconciliations, and variance analysis to maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage treasury operations including cash management, liquidity monitoring, and funding coordination.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to improve financial efficiency and business insights.
• Coordinate tax filings and assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Work closely with global teams to support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing under international accounting standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications Experience:

• Experience in financial reporting, accounting, or controllership within financial services or related industries.
• Knowledge of local GAAP, international accounting standards, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience preparing financial statements, regulatory filings, and working through audit processes.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, Tax Accountant, or equivalent (preferred but not required).
