Description
Our client is a market-leading provider of investment management solutions with many of the world's leading asset managers, alternative asset managers, asset owners, and asset servicers benefit from the insight, efficiency and scalability functionality enables.They are seeking a Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager with strong Fund Accounting /Fund Administration experience gained on the buyside, to join their Client Delivery team and work directly with clients to understand their business needs and assist them to implement, connect and configure their software
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 10 years' experience as a Project/Delivery/Implementation Manager,with a focus transformation in fund account and/or fund administration firms or services
- Understanding of buy side firms and the productlifecycle, including some or all of the following, Chartof Accounts, General Ledger posting, NAV and P&L calculations, corporate action processing.
- Experience of leading implementations of ABOR and/or IBOR software solutions
- Understanding of investment marketparticipants and the roles they play
- Strong financial product knowledge, having worked with financial products and their datasets. Alternatively, you may have extensiveexperience supporting buy side clientsthrough technology change and have been hands on with the business behind the software solutions.
- Experience of managing seniorstakeholders, to drive projects forwardand building consensus across multi-discipline teams
- Delivery focused,entrepreneurial spirit, with the abilityrapidly identify risks and blockersand lead resolution
- Experience of managing senior client stakeholders in a commercial context
- Knowledge or exposure to Agile deliveryapproaches
- Relevant degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent qualification.
- Likely you will have worked for an asset manager or financial software or service provider
The successful applicant can expect to be responsible for
- Leading complex implementations acrossa portfolio of clients from initiation to BAU
- Driving delivery and unblocking issues to maintainprogress and achieveobjectives and milestones
- Managing scope and applying discipline in change management
- Building and maintaining project and programme level plans across complex streams of work
- Working closelywith Engineering, Salesand Product teams to ensurethe successful and timely deliveryof all client solutions
- Attending and driving daily stand ups with internal and client teams
- Using JIRA, Dynamics and the RAID logs to manage deliveries with engineers, implementation consultants and clients
- Tracking resources and cost throughout engagements, ensuring the adequate level of coverage for successful delivery
- Building strong professional relationships with clientsand supporting and coaching stakeholders to delivery successful outcomes for our clients
