SVP - Private Markets Investment Due DiligenceOur client is an alternative investment access platform that is seeking a Vice President/Senior Vice President to join their team.
Role Summary
Seeking a senior investment professional to lead due diligence efforts for private capital strategies. The role involves evaluating fund managers, producing detailed reports, and supporting investment selection and client education.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead due diligence on private capital managers, including qualitative and quantitative assessments
- Draft comprehensive investment reports and maintain consistency across evaluations
- Manage the pipeline of due diligence projects and contribute to process improvements
- Monitor market trends and communicate opportunities to internal stakeholders
- Source and screen new managers, maintaining a forward-looking pipeline of ideas
- Develop strategy-specific market maps and educational materials for clients
- Present investment theses and market insights to clients and internal teams
Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience in financial services; 10 years minimum of experience conducting due diligence on private capital managers, for top-tier investment consultants or fund of funds
- Fund manager evaluation as the candidate's primary responsibility at prior firm(s)
- Demonstrated qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
- Strong written communication skills and able to present in front of senior professionals in the industry
