About the Role:

Seeking a visionary and strategic Venture Capital Director to lead investment initiatives in the rapidly evolving sectors of crypto, digital assets, blockchain, and Web3. This role is ideal for a seasoned investor with deep domain expertise and a passion for emerging technologies that are reshaping the financial and digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investment Strategy & Execution
  
  • Develop and execute investment theses across crypto, blockchain, DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, and Web3 infrastructure.
  • Source, evaluate, and lead high-potential investment opportunities.
  • Conduct rigorous due diligence, including market analysis, technical assessments, and financial modeling.
• Portfolio Management
  
  • Oversee and support portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance and operational support.
  • Monitor performance metrics and ensure alignment with fund objectives.
  • Facilitate follow-on funding rounds and exit strategies.
• Industry Engagement
  
  • Build and maintain relationships with founders, developers, institutional investors, and other VC firms.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and panels.
  • Stay ahead of trends in crypto regulation, tokenomics, and decentralized governance.
• Team Leadership
  
  • Mentor junior investment professionals and analysts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, and technical teams.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment banking, with at least 3 years focused on crypto/Web3.
• Proven track record of successful investments in blockchain or digital asset startups.
• Strong understanding of smart contracts, token economics, and decentralized protocols.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a global perspective on innovation.

Preferred Skills:

• Technical background (e.g., computer science, engineering) or hands-on experience with blockchain development.
• Familiarity with DAO governance, Layer 1/Layer 2 protocols, and Web3 tooling.
• Experience working with regulatory frameworks in crypto markets.
